PROBLEM
This project was to create a tea company’s package design concept, which comprised of a paper box mockup, a tea bag, tea bag envelope, and tag for the bag in the cup.
SOLUTION
After extensive research and working through other concepts, I settled on Twinings Ltd as a target subject. Starting with a redesign of their corporate logo, and continuing a consistent feel and design aesthetic for the other elements of the package, the project was a multiple-step process. The black and gold color palette, as well as the entire idea of the lion’s serious looking face were meant to convey the sense of regal formality that only a British tea company can illustrate. The final project came out bold - just as intended.
