About the Film
Operation: Plymouth Rock is a story about human exploration; spanning time, and the tension of humanity against all Mother Nature has to offer. A story of what has been, and what could be.

Like many of us, I've noticed the contrast in the noise of late. It feels like every time I pop out from the forest, each headline is more awful than the last. Humanity lives in the abhorrent, spiteful, hateful wake of a monster and his followers hellbent on destroying nature and the citizens of our beautiful planet. Right now he is winning, and people around the world suffer because of his vitriol & ignorance.
But you know...In recent mornings, I'd wake up to see new stories from Artemis, the twin sister of Apollo. I see through her eyes the suspended celestial bodies of Earth & Luna; colour in contrast, radiant, glowing in sun & splendour. There is so much beauty in our solar system alone. What wit and bravery it must take to explore it. What a gift to be born in this epoch of possibility, with the tools, knowledge & freedom to look up. What a gift it is to be able to ask 'why?' and to seek the truth in cosmic mystery without punishment. What a gift it is to be astronomically lucky to exist on this very planet, our small, rocky oasis, bursting with life & love, (and cats). We have the choice to thrive windward in her ceaseless motion, immersed in a fragment of her geological time. And what a responsibility we have to cherish and care for our only home and all of our neighbours beside us.
This project was a significant step for my creator Robert to bring me off the paper I lived on, and out into the world. It took some time, but when it was finally finished, I came to life fully, and Robert's life would begin a process of drastic change forever, (he's so busy right now he barely has time to put food in my bowl he's a bad owner 🙄).
The spirits in my forest are scared. Everything feels loud, overwhelming, and uncertain. The birds don't sing the way they did before. The does weep at dusk, and the butterflies & bees aren't flying as freely as they used to. But here in my sacred forest, threatened ceaselessly by monsters undeserving of their power, I'm planting a seed of belief in a more awakened world. Even in knowing this world may grow darker still until the humans finally make the true steps of change and take power back from monsters the world over, I'm planting this seed for a future that's brighter than our current reality. That we may take the finite amount of chances we have — that we may hold to heart the blips of memory in our fleeting lives to make this world better — I dream.
